Meetings are held 2nd Monday, 6pm, April - October; 4th Sunday, 2pm, November - March. Everyone Welcome!
We provide limited "look-up" capabilities for those needing information on their families.
Our services are provided by volunteers who do not charge for their time, however they are not "certified" genealogists and cannot devote extensive time to any one family. They will provide as much information as is possible within a limited amount of time. They will also attempt to provide you with a path to follow to continue your search.
Visitors to the Society can research through our microfilm of Kentucky Death Certificates for the years 1911 - latest year released, Court Records and Newspapers; Microfiche of Kentucky births and deaths; Surname files of families as well as communities, churches, and schools; and Oral Histories.
Membership is open to anyone interested in family records,
family history, genealogy, and local history. Dues are 15.00 per year.
We love our visitors, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
